WHAT WE DO
Cushman Contracting Corporation has built a reputation as a leading contractor of water and wastewater plants through more than 50 years of experience in this challenging market. We are experts in new plant construction and understand the complexities of building within operational parameters. We have the ability to control schedule and cost by self-performing almost all scopes of work such as concrete, demolition, mechanical, pipeline, earthwork, and equipment installation. With our experience as builders and our collaboration with clients and engineers, we understand project objectives and develop optimal solutions to water and wastewater construction processes.
Our marine division works on and builds wharves, docks, launch ramps, piers, bridges, and outfalls. Our fleet of equipment includes barges, cranes and pile hammers which have supported many decades of driving pilings, building cofferdams, laying underwater pipelines, installing rock revetment and performing dredging as well as dragline and clam work. Our divers can place concrete, weld, cut, dredge, lay pipe, and perform any task required to accomplish the job in zero visibility conditions. As anyone who has worked on water knows, an otherwise simple project can become extremely complex when water is involved. Cushman’s team of experienced professionals are familiar with these challenges and are prepared to solve problems and offer solutions.
