Job Name: LOPEZ WTP Location: ARROYO GRANDE, CA Job Description: The Lopez WTP was a 16 million dollar job located 10 miles east of Arroyo Grande. The work included modifications to the pretreatment and filtration system; change of post-disinfectant from chlorine gas to chlorine dioxide and sodium hydrochlorite, and construction of ancillary facilities to support process changes. Specific project improvements included: new Administration/Laboratory/Control Building; New Chemical Storage Building and associated chemical feed systems; New pretreatment facilities; New membrane filtration system and building; Finished water reservoir modifications; Electrical and instrumentation upgrades, and other miscellaneous yard piping improvements. |
